Pheromones And Homosexual MenJ.D. Dean
The difference between humans and animals, where pheromones are concerned, is that humans are able to control their instinctual urges, where as animals and insects cannot. Because of this, it has been a controversial issue between scientists whether humans can actually be affected by pheromones. Evidence of humans having the ability to detect pheromones was discovered in the 1980s when scientific studies proved that humans do have a vorneronasal organ.
Pheromones are chemicals produced by most living things to send out a message. Some pheromones are used by animals to mark their territory or to warn others of imminent danger. Animals also use pheromones to attract a mate in order to ensure the survival of the species. Because of scientific evidence, pheromones in humans are believed to exist and may be useful in attracting members of the opposite sex. What has only recently been discovered by scientists is evidence that suggests gay men produce pheromones that are entirely different from heterosexual men. Pheromone For Man In recent studies, it was found that gay men reacted much the same as women when presented with certain types of pheromones to sniff. Studies have also shown that gay men react differently to pheromones than heterosexual males. The study was conducted by exposing both heterosexual and homosexual men and women to chemicals containing male and female sex hormones or what is known to be human pheromones. When the gay men were exposed to the male hormone testosternoe, they had the same reaction as women. Where as estrogen, the female hormone, did not get a reaction from gay men. Heterosexual men reacted normally to it. Some pheromone products on the market claim to work for both homosexual men as well as heterosexual men, although there is little evidence to back this up. Pheromone for man products are available to either gender. This means that those in the gay communities are left with little choice but to use synthesized pheromone products made for heterosexual people. Since pheromones are used to create a feeling of masculinity or femininity in people, certain pheromone products can still be used to create this effect. Some pheromone products should be avoided by homosexual men. These are products that contain androsterone, which is a known male pheromone. |
